When I think of Whistler, the first thing that comes to mind is driving across the border to Whistler from Oregon so that my friends and I could tie one on because the drinking age was 19.  My how times have changed!  (at least slightly)  Back then we would just grab the cheapest hotel we could find, but now every once in a while I get to treat myself to posh properties like the ones listed here.

The most prominent attraction to Whistler, Canada is alpine skiing, but it also offers many opportunities for snowboarding in the winter. Its view is so beautiful, and its landscape is so ripe for snow sports that Whistler hosted the majority of the Nordic, luge, bobsled, and skeleton events for the Winter Olympics in 2010.

When summer comes by, the town becomes a paradise for mountain bikers. Since it’s a major tourist arena, you’ll find a wide range of luxury places in the city, including hotels and lavish resorts. On that note, here are the top five luxury hotels in Whistler!

Very informative post! Well, I can say all of these luxurious hotels in Whistler Canada will make you feel so relaxed because of the facilities that they have. But I think if I will go for a travel here, I’ll choose “The Fairmont Chateau” to experience their heated indoor pool and outdoor pools (while enjoying the mountain views with a glass of wine) then after the outdoor pool, I want to experience their spa with sauna and their Jacuzzi and be relaxed till my heart’s content. So much activity in this luxurious hotel and will indeed enjoy staying here.
